Overview

Delivery Driver (Zero/Casual Hours) at GSF Car Parts. Delivery Drivers are the face of our brand, delivering parts to customers and providing excellent customer service. They help gather customer feedback and ensure goods are delivered within the promised time. This role is on a zero hour/casual basis to cover holidays or absence and contribute to the overall success of a high-performing organisation, promoting the Company brand through positive customer interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering products to customer premises within a 40 mile radius
  • Maintain high levels of customer service at all times
  • Provide feedback to the branch on relevant customer and competitor activity
  • Load the vehicle according to procedures
  • Collect customer returns as required
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintenance
  • Assist in the warehouse as required
  • Assist with Inter-Branch Transfer Deliveries as required

Hours

Working hours: Up to 41 (average) hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working, depending on branch cover needs.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Must hold a full UK Driving Licence with a maximum of 6 points
  • Minimum of 3 years driving experience
  • Excellent knowledge of the 40 mile radius of the branch
  • Previous experience in a delivery driver role
  • Understanding of the importance of excellent customer service standards
  • Ability to meet deadlines and maintain good time-keeping
  • Customer-focused, driven to achieve and willing to go the extra mile
