Overview
Delivery Drivers play a crucial part of the team within GSF Car Parts. They are the face of our brand by delivering parts to customers and providing excellent customer service. Delivery Drivers contribute to overall success of a high performing organisation and promote the Company brand through positive interaction with customers. This is a zero hour/casual contract role to cover holidays or absences.
Responsibilities
- Delivering products to customers’ premises within a 40 mile radius
- Ensure high levels of customer service at all times
- Provide feedback to the branch on relevant customer and competitor activity
- Load the vehicle according to procedures
- Collect customer returns as required
- Vehicle maintenance including daily checks
- Help in the warehouse as and when required
- Assist with inter-branch transfer deliveries as needed
Working hours
Up to 41 hours (average) Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working depending on branch cover.
About You
What you\\\’ll need to succeed
- Full UK Driving Licence with a maximum of 6 points
- Minimum of 3 years driving experience
- Excellent knowledge of the 40 mile radius of the branch
- Previous experience in a delivery driver role
- Ability to maintain excellent standards of customer service
- Good time keeping and ability to work to deadlines
- Customer focused, driven to achieve and willing to go the extra mile
