We are looking for an organised and detail‑driven New Accounts Administrator to join our team in Chester on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract. This role is essential in ensuring that new customer accounts are set up accurately, efficiently, and in line with internal processes and compliance standards. You’ll be a key part of the customer onboarding journey—supporting documentation checks, processing applications, updating internal systems, and providing high‑quality administrative support to the wider team.
Key Responsibilities
- Process new customer account applications accurately and within agreed SLAs.
- Validate customer information and documentation to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Input and maintain customer data across CRM and account management systems.
- Liaise with internal departments (e.g., Sales, Finance, Customer Support) to resolve queries and ensure smooth onboarding.
- Conduct basic credit checks or identity checks where required.
- Maintain clear, professional communication with customers regarding application status or required additional information.
- Prepare and maintain reports, logs, and other documentation as needed.
- Identify and escalate discrepancies or potential issues promptly.
- Support team projects or process improvements during the contract period.
