As a Warehouse Controller at GSF Car Parts you will be responsible for motivating and leading a team of Warehouse Operatives. You will ensure stock delivers the sales budgets and the operational functions of the Warehouse run smoothly.
Main Duties Include:
- Manage the organisation and performance to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Goods In, Goods Out, Returns and Stock Control departments.
- Pick and load van/carrier accurately for timely customer delivery when required.
- Check stock quantities are correct against computer records.
- Use personal judgement and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles.
- Assist the branch manager with holidays/sickness cover, preparing weekly plans, developing the warehouse team and working with drivers to ensure the best delivery service for customers.
- Create a positive and supportive environment where employees are valued and can reach their true potential.
Working Hours: 45 (average) hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working.
As the Warehouse Controller you will have a great track record of managing a warehouse, ideally gained within a fast-paced environment such as FMCG.
