We are looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing the receipt, inspection, and organization of goods as they arrive at our warehouse. This position requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and a proactive approach to maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient workspace.
Main Responsibilities
- Goods Receiving and Inspection: Unload incoming deliveries and check goods for quantity, quality, and condition. Verify received items against purchase orders and delivery notes to ensure accuracy. Report any discrepancies or damaged goods to the supervisor.
- Inventory Organization: Label and store received goods in the correct locations within the warehouse. Update inventory records accurately using scanning equipment or warehouse management systems. Assist in stock organization and optimization within the inbound department.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Accurately complete receiving paperwork and input data into the system as required. Maintain records of incoming goods for traceability and stock level management.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse team members to ensure smooth daily operations. Communicate any issues with goods or inventory to the inbound supervisor promptly.
