We are looking for a Branch Administrator who, as part of your role, will support the branch by contributing to the financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all proof of delivery (POD) notes are accounted for
- Ensure missing notes and POD's are investigated and replacements obtained if required
- Balance branch till daily ensuring everything is accurate and up to date
- Complete branch banking books and ensure monies are banked daily
- Forward till reports to Head Office and update banking template
- Allocate pay later notes
- Monitor unpaid cash sale reports, escalating any discrepancies or queries
- Ensuring any unpaid or outstanding amounts are collected in a timely manner
- Running the weekly account statements and ensure these are up to date
- Ensuring staff accounts are up to date
- Monitor and analyse the age debt report
- Allocate customer payments whilst ensuring monies are banked daily
- Updating customer notes with detail as and when required
- Monitor and review customer credit limits
- Dealing with general customer queries either face to face or over the telephone
Working Hours
22.5 (average) hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working.
Qualifications
- Experience in telesales and/or customer service, ideally gained in a fast‑paced sales‑driven environment.
- Ability to work quickly and under pressure to deadlines
- Organised with great attention to detail
- Target driven, motivated by sales and able to deal with rejection
- Willingness to learn and develop
- A team player with the ability to also work independently
- Confident and polite telephone manner
- Excellent communicator
- Good Interpersonal skills
- IT Literate
