We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will act as a key link between IT and business functions, ensuring that technology solutions effectively support business needs. You will analyse existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and help deliver impactful IT solutions. Working closely with stakeholders, requestors, and technical teams, you will map, analyse, and document business requirements into clear, actionable specifications and support the full lifecycle through to solution delivery. You will also engage with third-party suppliers and customers to gather requirements as part of onboarding or change processes, while helping educate the business on how front-end actions influence back-end systems and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Defining, analysing and documenting requirements to ensure the final deliverable meets business needs.
- Lead and coordinate requirements-gathering activities, aligning outputs with business priorities and appropriate levels of documentation.
- Work closely with stakeholders and requestors, applying MoSCoW prioritisation and defining clear acceptance criteria.
- Apply analytical thinking, technical understanding, and experience to assess issues and determine effective solutions.
- Examine and document business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend appropriate changes.
- Partner with IT teams to design and implement solutions that accurately reflect business requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to clarify requirements and resolve any ambiguities.
- Create test plans, execute testing activities, and validate that solutions meet quality expectations and business objectives.
- Identify and communicate any potential impacts arising from proposed changes.
- Understand the team’s capabilities to help shape viable solutions and drive engagement.
- Convey complex concepts and methodologies to stakeholders with varying levels of seniority and technical knowledge.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including requirements, process flows, test cases, and user guides, throughout the project lifecycle.
Essential
- Over 3 years’ experience working as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of requirements definition, requirements management, solution design processes, and associated techniques across both Waterfall and Agile delivery frameworks.
- Skilled at eliciting detailed, granular requirements and uncovering underlying logic.
- Quick to understand business systems, workflows, and operational processes.
- Able to influence key stakeholders to gain support for proposed strategies, process improvements, and operational decisions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and work to tight deadlines.
Preferred
- Holds recognised Business Analysis certifications or qualifications.
- Strong understanding of IT systems, applications, and operational processes.
- Experienced in working with ERP, CRM, and other enterprise-level platforms.
- Possesses industry knowledge and practical experience within the Motor Vehicle Manufacturing sector.
