As a Van Controller within GSF Car Parts, you will play an important part in ensuring that we continue to commit to our sales promise by coordinating delivery runs and ensuring delivery drivers continuously provide excellent customer service.
Main Duties
- Managing the driver team
- Co-ordinate delivery runs and orders in the most cost effective way
- Ensure vans deliver on time
- Control and Coordinate branch fleet maintenance and servicing
- Ensure the delivery team can deliver the branches customer service standards
Working hours
45 (average) hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working
About You
As the Van Controller you will have a great track record of managing a driver team and coordinating delivery runs.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Experience of motivating a diverse team
- Customer focussed, driven to achieve and willing to go the extra mile
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to train and develop others
- Must have held a driving licence for a minimum of 3 years
- Geographical knowledge of area within a 40 mile radius
