About The Role
- Reconcile daily branch banking to till control reports for multiple branches across the Group using Aurum (bank reconciliation software) and Excel reports.
- Identify and resolve banking discrepancies promptly, working with branch management.
- Support monitoring of the Cash Posting Log, post nominal ledger transactions, and liaise with Sales & Purchase Ledger colleagues to ensure daily transaction posting to the accounting system (MAM).
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for multiple company bank accounts and support the Group Bank Reconciliation process as needed.
- Work with and support branch colleagues to ensure compliance with Treasury procedures and policies.
- Assist in maintaining branch PDQ machines.
- Raise ad hoc payments using AccessPay / Barclay iPortal.
- Perform any other duties as required by the line manager, commensurate with the role.
About You
- Experience in finance administration, especially with MS Excel.
- Accurate and efficient work with exceptional attention to detail.
- Confident and polite telephone manner.
- Experience with MAM, SAGE, SAP, SUN.
- Ideally, experience in till management and banking processes.
