We are looking for an analytical and commercially minded Management Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This is a key role within a fast-paced environment, responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, supporting operational decision-making, and driving business performance. You will take ownership of management and financial accounts, providing insightful analysis and ensuring robust financial controls are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Management Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and deliver P&L and balance sheet analysis with clear commentary on key variances.
- Reconcile and review balance sheet accounts, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
- Conduct margin and revenue analysis, including rebates.
- Systems, Processes & Controls
- Maintain strong financial controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness.
- Drive continuous process improvements within finance and across the wider business.
- Leverage BI, ERP, and reporting tools to streamline reporting and enhance data quality.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate across finance teams, including transactional and FP&A, to deliver complete and timely financial information.
- Build strong relationships with budget holders and key stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
Skills & Experience
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) β ideal for a first-time mover from practice.
- Strong knowledge of FRS102, including preparation and review of statutory accounts.
- Excellent analytical skills with commercial insight.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.
