Delivery Drivers play a crucial part in the team within GSF Car Parts. They are the face of our brand by delivering parts to customers and providing excellent customer service. Our Delivery Drivers offer valuable customer feedback and help us stay committed to timely deliveries.
As a Delivery Driver on a zero-hour/casual contract, you will support the branch during holidays or absences. You will contribute to the success of a high-performing organization and promote the Company brand through positive customer interactions.
Main Duties include:
- Deliver products to customers within a 40-mile radius
- Maintain high levels of customer service
- Provide feedback on customer and competitor activity
- Load your vehicle according to procedures
- Collect customer returns as required
- Perform vehicle maintenance and daily checks
- Assist in the warehouse when needed
- Support inter-branch transfer deliveries as required
Working hours: Up to 41 hours per week, Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturdays, depending on branch cover needs.
About You
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Full UK Driving Licence with a maximum of 6 points
- Minimum of 3 years driving experience
- Good knowledge of the 40-mile radius around the branch
- Previous delivery driver experience
- Understanding of excellent customer service standards
- Ability to meet deadlines and good time management skills
- Customer-focused, motivated to achieve, and willing to go the extra mile
