About The Role
GSF Car Parts is seeking a Casual Retail Assistant to deliver excellent customer service. You will be a crucial part of the team, contributing towards branch and individual targets through face-to-face sales, servicing click and collect orders, and developing sound customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Serve trade and retail customers for click and collect and general orders while maximising sales where possible.
- Pick relevant parts from the warehouse to fulfil customer orders.
- Assist the sales team on product promotions by answering telephone queries and dealing with electronic queries as needed.
- Fully satisfy customer needs in respect of any part orders, returns, or queries they may have.
- Check customer returns for resale, warranty or surcharge.
- Contribute to a positive team performance while working on personal benchmarks to optimise personal performance and promote product promotions.
- Utilise the E-learning portal to develop product knowledge and improve performance.
- Ensure that the customer-facing areas of the branch are kept clean and tidy.
- Develop strong working relationships with customers and understand their garage needs.
- Promote a professional image of the company by upholding our values and maintaining a professional appearance.
- Work towards the achievement of relevant KPIs.
Working hours
Casual basis to cover sickness and annual leave. Will include weekend working.
About You
What you\’ll need to succeed:
- Proven customer service or sales/retail experience within a customer-facing role.
- Target driven and motivated to achieve results.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to adopt a positive approach to customer queries, proactively seeking resolutions.
- Confident user of IT and computer systems.
- The ability to work well with others.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of car parts or the automotive industry would be advantageous but isn’t essential.
- Knowledge of MS Office is desirable.
