Job Description
This role as a Senior Surveyor or Associate in our Chester-le-Street office will see you delivering a full range of professional advice across rural property matters, including landlord and tenant issues, valuations, property transactions, diversification, renewable energy, and ecosystem services. You will collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure exceptional client service and support the delivery of regional business plans and strategic objectives.
Building and nurturing strong client relationships and developing new business opportunities, work pipeline and providing an excellent level of service will be key to this position. You will have the opportunity to deliver a varied and interesting range of work, with a strong pipeline of work and exciting range of clients. This role offers excellent career development opportunities and will suit someone passionate about the rural and agricultural sector.
The Successful Applicant
- Holds a RICS-accredited degree with 2-3 years PQE in a similar rural surveying role.
- Demonstrates a detailed knowledge of rural property matters, with added experience in energy or planning being advantageous.
- Has excellent organisational, planning, and IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to network and build relationships effectively.
- Works well independently and as part of a team, showing flexibility and a proactive approach to managing multiple priorities.
