About Us
Hook Surveys, established in 2000, brings over 30 years of experience within the surveying and building industry. Over the years, we’ve built an excellent reputation and an expanding portfolio of loyal clients. Due to continued growth, 2015 saw the opening of our Midlands office and the relocation of our main office to Dartford.
We are now looking for a motivated Land Surveyor / CAD Technician who wants to transition into a more office‑based role, focusing on the drawing and processing side of surveying.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ Topographical survey experience
- Strong work ethic: reliable, proactive, and able to work independently or within a team
- Excellent communication, IT, and numeracy skills
- Experience processing survey data and producing 2D & 3D DWG drawings
- Proficiency with SCC and AutoCAD
Key Duties
- Process topographical survey data received from our site teams
- Draft and produce 2D & 3D drawings to a high standard
- Check, quality‑control, and issue drawings
- Assist in managing project timescales and workload
- Adhere to company health & safety policies
- Report directly to the operations manager
