About the Role:
We are looking for a Site Manager to oversee a commercial refurbishment project in Edinburgh on a 12-week contract basis. You will be responsible for managing subcontractors and labour on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme within a partly live environment. This role requires someone with strong health and safety awareness.
- Oversee day-to-day site operations on a commercial fit out
- Manage subcontractors and site labour to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently
- Monitor programme and progress to ensure project deadlines are achieved
- Maintain high standards of health and safety
- Coordinate trades and manage site logistics within a partly occupied environment
- Conduct regular site inspections and toolbox talks
- Liaise directly with clients, consultants, and senior management
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout all phases of the project
- Manage site documentation including RAMS, permits, and progress reports
- Identify and resolve any on-site issues
