Interim Quantity Surveyor – Retrofit – 6-month contract A respected public sector organisation is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to play a pivotal role in the commercial delivery of a multi-million-pound retrofit housing programme. This interim position offers the opportunity to directly influence the decarbonisation and improvement of housing stock, supporting safer, more sustainable, and energy-efficient homes for communities. You will take commercial ownership of retrofit projects ensuring cost control, contractual compliance, and value for money across a range of contracts. You will be working closely with Contracts Managers, delivery teams, and external contractors, you will oversee budgeting, valuations, cash flow forecasting, and final account settlements, ensuring robust financial reporting and project governance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social or public sector housing, with expertise in JCT contracts, NEC (desirable), PAS2030/2035 compliance, and managing third-party funded projects such as SHDF.
