We are looking for an Interim Health & Safety Consultant to join a lead housing provider for a 12-month project. In this role, you won’t just be “checking the boxes.” You will act as a pivotal consultant to our leadership team while providing hands‑on, practical advice across our diverse housing portfolio. What You’ll Be Doing
- Strategic Advisory: Acting as the subject matter expert for senior stakeholders on all things H&S and compliance.
- Operational Support: Providing day‑to‑day guidance to site teams, ensuring our residents and staff remain safe and compliant.
- Audit & Review: Conducting thorough risk assessments and safety audits across social housing assets.
- Policy Evolution: Reviewing and refining existing H&S policies to ensure they meet the latest regulatory standards (including the Building Safety Act).
What We’re Looking For
- The Housing Specialist: You have a proven track record within a Housing Association or the wider public sector.
- The Consultant Mindset: You can analyze complex safety data and translate it into actionable advice for non‑technical teams.
- Qualified Expert: You hold a NEBOSH General cert (or equivalent).
