This is a strategic leadership role, offering the chance to coach, advise, and guide operational teams and supply chain partners to deliver legislative compliance, innovative solutions, and lasting environmental impact.\\n\\nReporting into the Director of Health and Safety, you will take ownership of the environmental and sustainability function, helping shape and execute a forward-thinking ESG strategy aligned with national carbon reduction and Net Zero goals.\\n\\nWhy the Environmental & Sustainability Manager position is something you should apply for:\\n\\nYou will be at the heart of driving environmental innovation and performance across UK-wide projects.\\n\\nYou’ll lead the implementation of ISO 14001 aligned environmental systems and act as the technical expert for the business.\\n\\nThe opportunity to engage with local authorities, the Environment Agency, and key stakeholders to deliver meaningful change.\\n\\nA chance to work closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams in a business prioritising environmental leadership.\\n\\nRegular engagement with projects from early-stage bids through to construction and post-delivery impact assessments.\\n\\nThe successful Environmental & Sustainability Manager will:\\n\\nIEMA Level 5 in Environmental Management (or equivalent).\\n\\nIdeally hold a Lead Auditor in ISO 14001\\n\\nBe confident in influencing, coaching, and training others at all levels across a business.\\n\\nDemonstrate strong experience in developing and implementing environmental and sustainability strategies.\\n\\nHave excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to drive behavioural change and continuous improvement.\\n\\nPossess an understanding of carbon reduction strategies, incident investigation, and environmental risk mitigation.\\n\\nBe confident managing relationships with external bodies including the HSE and Environment Agency.\\n\\nBe comfortable working both on-site and at a strategic level, with strong data reporting and dashboard skills.\\n\\nHold a full UK driving license.\\n\\nIn return, the successful individual will receive:\\n\\n£60,000 – £65,000\\n\\nCar allowance of £5,500\\n\\nPension\\n\\n26 days holiday \\n\\nFlexible and hybrid working arrangements\\n\\nClear career development path with potential for long-term growth\\n\\nIf you're ready to take the next step in your environmental career and contribute to a more sustainable future, apply now
