We are absolutely delighted to be recruiting for an outstanding Recruitment Assistant for our growing business; GS2 Partnership. For this particular role, we are not seeking any recruitment experience and are simply looking for a superstar who is looking for an exciting, people-first, challenging and fast-paced career. Recruitment quite simply is finding great candidates for great companies. As a Recruitment Assistant, you will be talking to candidates for 75% plus of your working day and supporting the team to match excellent candidates to great opportunities.
The successful Recruitment Assistant will predominantly operate on vacancies across the UK and European market, but there will be occasional opportunities to support our US team as we continue our growth in that region. We are a small but mighty team at present, with exciting plans to accelerate over the coming 3 years. This is an unrivalled opportunity to join a business that has huge plans to grow, being part of something right at the start of that journey, with real ownership of the success you create as part of that.
Please note that full training will be provided, so if you read any of the following and don’t know what we mean; don’t worry! All will make sense as you grow and develop in the role.
The day-to-day duties for the successful Recruitment Assistant will include:
- Making lots of mistakes on a daily basis. We expect and embrace a high rate of failure; we want you to fail fast and learn fast!
- Working in partnership with our Consultants to understand each role brief for our clients, building a sound knowledge of the calibre of candidate and experience level we are seeking for each position. You will work across a variety of top-tier roles, creating diversity in your day-to-day.
- Searching for and engaging with candidates through a range of channels including job boards, LinkedIn and referrals.
- Qualifying candidates for each of your role vacancies to ensure that they will be a suitable fit for the role in question.
- Building and strengthening relationships with candidates through the recruitment lifecycle, being highly organised at all times in keeping in close contact with them.
- Building and maintaining relationships with a volume of individuals, keeping in regular contact with them, seeing their personal journey and becoming a trusted point of contact for their career growth.
- Adding candidates to our central database (this is the administrative bit of the role and will take up c. 20% of your time).
Why you should consider us:
- We offer a robust training programme to help you onboard successfully and grow from strength to strength.
- The sky is the limit for your own personal growth. Upwards mobility is a key feature of GS2’s culture. Be part of an entrepreneurial environment in which you are encouraged to identify your goals and be supported to reach them.
- Working in recruitment is an incredibly rewarding career choice. You are essentially helping candidates all day, every day. This is a great job for a people person!
- We offer a wealth of regular experience-based incentives. From our quarterly lunch clubs with a twist, to our coveted international trips, we want to build amazing memories as a group.
A note on flexibility:
- We work 08:00 – 17:00 Monday – Thursday, with an early finish most Fridays.
- We favour connectivity and culture and work from the office 4 days a week, with Wednesdays from home.
- We create opportunities to work from abroad, travel and see the world and offer 25 days of A/L + Bank Holidays, plus 3 days of Christmas closure and 3 days to use towards charities close to your heart.
- In addition, you enjoy 2 wellbeing shut down days each year on us!
- We actively encourage you to spend time with your families, friends and loved ones. This is a priority for us. We work incredibly hard and expect that flexibility is give and take.
- The above said, we are not ashamed to have a high bar and strong expectations of the expected work ethic across our team. We are here to win together. If regularly working above your core hours, taking calls in the evenings where needed and occasionally speaking with candidates at the weekend is not for you; we are not the right business for you.
