We are looking for a highly credible leader to drive HSE cultural change and strategic direction at a major UK infrastructure organisation.
As a key member of the senior leadership team, the role requires an influential heavyweight capable of driving high performing HSE culture and leading a dynamic team of around 30 specialists.
What You Will Do- Take full accountability for developing and delivering the strategy across Health & Safety, Environmental, Technical Training, Occupational Hygiene, and Governance & Integrity.
- Coach, lead, and develop team managers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), driving deep accountability and ownership.
- Represent the business in critical engagements with external regulators, industry bodies, and consultants.
- Have significant input into and management of OPEX and CAPEX budgets, reviewing spend requirements continuously.
- Act as the ultimate owner of site Technical Procedures and statutory compliance to avoid business interruption.
