A leading healthcare organisation is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to support a portfolio of sites across East Midlands and South Yorkshire. You’ll provide practical advice, support regulatory compliance, and work collaboratively to embed consistent, high standards of health and safety.
Key duties of the Health and Safety Advisor role include but are not limited to:
- Advising senior management teams on health and safety compliance and best practice
- Supporting sites during regulatory inspections, audits, and reviews
- Working with health and safety colleagues to improve performance and consistency
- Supporting incident investigations, root cause analysis, and sharing lessons learned
- Identifying and escalating significant risks with clear, practical recommendations
The successful Health and Safety Advisor will hold:
- At least 1-3 years’ experience in an operational health and safety role
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent Level 3 qualification in Health & Safety
- IOSH membership or willingness to work towards it
- Experience with risk assessments, contractor safety, and incident investigations
- Working knowledge of fire safety and audits
