Director of Environment Are you looking to create and implement environmental strategies for leading infrastructure and property sector projects? If so, look no further… An autonomous position has arisen for a Director of Environment to join an independent consultancy with offices in Birmingham and London, prioritising environment, planning, and sustainability. In this essential role, you will lead the Environmental team and projects around the Birmingham area, working closely with other business unit leads in London. You’ll be at the forefront of delivering and managing projects, growing the business, and further building market presence in this crucial area. The successful Director of Environment will: Have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the environment, planning, or sustainability sectors. Demonstrate expertise in preparing and delivering Environment Management Plans and Consent Management Plans. Show proficiency in stakeholder engagement, specifically with Consenting Authorities. Have an active network of contacts in the Environmental Management and Consents sectors, ideally around Birmingham, Manchester and London. Possess strong project and people management skills, with a focus on mentoring and developing team members.
