Hours: Full-time (including evenings, weekends, sleep‑ins and bank holidays on a rota basis)

About the Role

We are looking for passionate and dedicated Residential Support Workers and Senior Residential Support Workers to join our growing team. You will play a key role in supporting children and young people in all aspects of their daily lives while promoting their welfare, education and emotional wellbeing.

Responsibilities:

  • Safeguard children and young people at all times
  • Build positive relationships
  • Support education and appointments
  • Promote independence skills
  • Complete daily recordings and reports
  • Support behaviour management plans
  • Participate in activities and outings
  • Work alongside social workers, schools and professionals
  • Maintain a safe and homely environment

Requirements

Essential:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends and sleep‑ins
  • Willingness to complete mandatory training
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

Desirable:

  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
