We are seeking a professional and reliable Class 2 C&D Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating 26T Rigids to transport pallets efficiently and safely. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers with a passion for commercial driving and delivery services to contribute to a dynamic organisation committed to safety and customer satisfaction.

Duties

  • Safely operate a Class 2 Rigid for the collection and transportation of C&D across designated routes.
  • Ensure all deliveries are completed in accordance with schedules, maintaining punctuality and efficiency.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Secure loads properly on the vehicle to prevent movement during transit, adhering to safety regulations.
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials when necessary, following health and safety guidelines.
  • Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and health & safety procedures at all times during operations.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly delivery trucks.
  • Knowledge of safe load securing techniques for flatbed transport.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to plan routes effectively.
  • Ability to work independently whilst adhering to strict safety standards.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as required, including early mornings or late finishes if necessary.
