Are you an experienced planner with exceptional organisational skills and a passion for keeping operations running smoothly? We're looking for a proactive Packaging Planner to join our Planning team and play a vital role in ensuring our packaging materials are available at the right time, in the right quantities, and at the right cost.
Working closely with the Support Planning Manager and wider Planning team, you'll help deliver best-practice packaging planning across all operations, ensuring production runs efficiently while driving continuous improvement.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Planning, scheduling, and ordering packaging materials to support production requirements.
- Managing packaging stock levels to prevent stock-outs while optimising inventory and minimising waste.
- Reducing stock write-offs through effective stock management and forecasting.
- Performing stock reconciliations, reporting, and valuation activities.
- Coordinating promotional packaging to ensure availability for campaigns while controlling costs.
- Raising purchase orders with approved suppliers to maintain 100% packaging availability.
- Expediting supplier orders to ensure on-time delivery.
- Building strong supplier relationships by providing short- and long-term forecasts and conducting regular performance reviews.
- Supporting business improvement projects and contributing ideas that add value.
- Championing Continuous Improvement (LEAN) principles across all areas of responsibility.
- Supporting colleagues across the team during periods of absence or increased workload.
About You

- Previous experience in a planning or supply chain planning role, ideally within manufacturing or FMCG.
