We are looking for an experienced Finance Director to provide strategic and operational financial leadership across a number of our UK farming businesses. This is a high-profile role working closely with the UK CFO, Board, and senior stakeholders to drive sustainable growth, profitability, and value.
As our Farms Finance Director, you will lead the finance function across several UK farming operations, ensuring strong financial governance, robust planning, and clear, transparent reporting. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to the Board and senior leadership, shaping strategy, supporting investment decisions, and delivering insights that drive performance across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic financial insight to the Chairman, COO, Board, and senior leadership
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term financial planning
- Drive profitability and performance analysis across product lines and operations
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and strong governance across all entities
- Partner with operational and commercial teams on costing, pricing, and growth opportunities
- Build and develop a high‑performing finance team
- Manage stakeholder relationships including grower members and regulatory bodies
- Oversee risk management, compliance, and financial controls
- Proven experience in a senior Finance leadership role (FD or equivalent)
- Experience working in a farming/agricultural organisation would be beneficial
