Part‑Time Farm & Estate Operative (12‑20 Hours per Week)
We are looking for a reliable and practical individual to join our team on a part‑time basis. This role will be 12 hours per week (approximately 2 days), increasing to up to 20 hours per week during the summer months.
Key Responsibilities- Planting, watering and maintaining trees
- Painting and general estate maintenance
- Fencing work
- Assisting with cattle
- Dog park maintenance
- Filling farmland supplementary bird feeders
- Checking and maintaining bird boxes
- Spot spraying using a knapsack sprayer
- Supporting mole catching during winter months
- Operating strimmers and other handheld equipment
- Full, clean driving licence (essential)
- Practical, hands‑on approach to work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather
- Experience in farming, estate work, or similar environment desirable but not essential
Training will be provided, including safe operation of a Gator vehicle. This is a varied and rewarding role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining high standards across a rural estate.
