Part‑Time Farm & Estate Operative (12‑20 Hours per Week)

We are looking for a reliable and practical individual to join our team on a part‑time basis. This role will be 12 hours per week (approximately 2 days), increasing to up to 20 hours per week during the summer months.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planting, watering and maintaining trees
  • Painting and general estate maintenance
  • Fencing work
  • Assisting with cattle
  • Dog park maintenance
  • Filling farmland supplementary bird feeders
  • Checking and maintaining bird boxes
  • Spot spraying using a knapsack sprayer
  • Supporting mole catching during winter months
  • Operating strimmers and other handheld equipment
Requirements
  • Full, clean driving licence (essential)
  • Practical, hands‑on approach to work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather
  • Experience in farming, estate work, or similar environment desirable but not essential

Training will be provided, including safe operation of a Gator vehicle. This is a varied and rewarding role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining high standards across a rural estate.
