We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Assistant to join our team and play a key role in supporting our end-to-end procurement operations based at our Mushroom Farm near Ely. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with early procurement experience who is ready to take the next step in their career. You’ll work closely with our Procurement Manager, supporting both the Commercial Director and wider commercial teams across Cambridgeshire, helping ensure a smooth, efficient supply chain while building strong relationships with suppliers across the UK and Europe.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assisting with supply planning and ensuring product availability meets demand
  • Raising and managing purchase orders, invoices, and supplier queries
  • Monitoring service levels, stock performance, and supply chain efficiency
  • Preparing and updating reports, trackers, and planning data
  • Collaborating with internal teams to align supply with customer requirements
  • Supporting weekly planning cycles and operational meetings
  • Helping manage costing, pricing, and profit tracking activities
