Shifts: Panama Shift Pattern (5am to 5pm) 2 weekly rolling pattern, every other weekend off. We are looking for a Machine Minder who enjoys working as part of a team in a dynamic environment to help us deliver our G’s promise of supplying fresh produce that delights our customers every day.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Production: Ensure that the machines run at the optimum efficiency and meet agreed targets, reporting and recording faults and down time. Ensure your machine is kept clean and in good working order, completing any pre-start checks and paperwork as appropriate. Ensure all specifications are adhered to by using the correct programs and checking the films and dates.
  • Quality: Ensure machinery is cleaned to the correct standard before production and in between product changes. Ensure that weights, metal detection and print is correct for each product and that the correct frequency of checks and recording takes place to provide compliance with procedures. Check the seal integrity.
  • Yield: Ensure that weights are set within agreed tolerances. Minimise floor waste and over production.
  • Policies and Procedure: Follow the company policies and procedures (risk assessments, safe working procedures, QC) that apply to your machine.
