Based in Barway and reporting to the Finance Business Partner, we are looking for a Management Accountant to join our team who will be an engaging communicator responsible for supporting the regular reporting and business support requirements in the Farms division of the G's Group.

Responsibilities

  • Provide relevant and timely period end reporting aligning to group deadlines.
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations monthly.
  • Provide daily and weekly KPI reporting to the business.
  • Maintain efficient processes and the control environment.
  • Prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts from data validation through to reporting, analysis and presentation.
  • Monitor the businesses cash flows and prepare cash flow forecasts.
  • Support Business Partner in presenting at management meetings.
  • Lead, manage and supervise junior members of the team.
  • Update and maintain Fixed Asset Registers/Modules on a monthly/periodic basis.

Candidate Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience and proficiency with MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint.
  • Enthusiastic individual willing to learn and help progress themselves and the team.
  • Inquisitive, attention to detail and a problem-solving outlook.
  • An engaging communicator at all levels.
  • Accounting/Finance Degree, AAT, or CIMA/ACCA part-qualified desirable but not essential. Study support offered.
