In this role, you’ll be critical to ensuring our machinery operates efficiently, safely, and consistently helping deliver high‑quality products with minimal downtime. What you’ll be doing:
- Production & Machine Operation
- Operating machinery safely and efficiently in line with SOPs
- Completing pre‑start checks and accurate machine setups
- Running equipment to meet production targets and quality standards
- Keeping your area clean, safe, and audit‑ready
- Line Support & Teamwork
- Supporting operatives on the line to maintain workflow and performance
- Communicating clearly and allocating tasks where required
- Leading by example in safety, hygiene, and productivity
- Coaching team members to build skills and confidence
- Monitoring & Adjustments
- Continuously monitoring machine performance and product quality
- Completing routine checks (weights, seals, coding, metal detection)
- Making real‑time adjustments to optimise output and reduce waste
- Maintenance & Fault‑Finding
- Carrying out basic maintenance, cleaning and lubrication
- Diagnosing and resolving minor mechanical issues
- Escalating complex faults quickly and supporting repairs
- Quality & Compliance
- Ensuring all products meet company and customer standards
- Maintaining accurate records for traceability and audits
- Following hygiene, GMP, and food safety requirements
- Continuous Improvement & Safety

What we’re looking for:
- Experience in food production or manufacturing (preferred)
- Basic mechanical or engineering knowledge
- Understanding of HACCP, GMP, and hygiene standards
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicator and reliable team player
- Proactive, hands‑on approach
- Basic IT skills for data entry and reporting
