We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cooker Operative to ensure production runs efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
Production & Efficiency
- Operate machinery to achieve optimum efficiency and meet production targets.
- Report and record faults, downtime, and performance issues.
- Complete pre-start checks and ensure machines are clean and in good working order.
- Follow correct specifications, including programmes, films, and date codes.
Quality & Compliance
- Maintain cleaning standards before and during production.
- Ensure weights, metal detection, and print checks are carried out at the required frequency.
- Verify seal integrity and ensure products meet quality standards.
Yield & Waste Control
- Set and maintain weights within agreed tolerances.
- Minimise waste, including floor waste and overproduction.
Policies & Procedures
- Follow all company policies, including health & safety, quality control, and safe working practices.
