Up to £70,000 or £300 a day outside IR35
GS Group are engaged to source an experienced Structured Cabling Project Manager to deliver high-quality copper and fibre infrastructure projects across commercial and smart building environments.
You’ll manage projects end-to-end — from bid support and design coordination through to installation, testing, commissioning, and handover — ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to industry standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing structured cabling projects (copper, fibre)
- Leading on-site teams and coordinating subcontractors
- Owning project programmes, costs, quality, and H&S
- Overseeing testing (Fluke / OTDR) and handover documentation
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and construction partners
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years’ experience in structured cabling / ICT project management
- Strong background in copper & fibre installations
- Project Management qualification (PRINCE2 / APM or similar) is desirable
- ECS Card or equivalent
- Confident communicator with strong commercial awareness
- Construction experience would be an advantage
