Are you a practical, proactive individual with a strong “can-do” attitude? We’re looking for a Building Maintenance Technician to play a key role in maintaining and improving our company sites, ensuring they are safe, efficient, and compliant at all times. Working closely with the building maintenance team and reporting to the Site Services Manager, you’ll support the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our facilities. This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the effective operation and maintenance of all company sites
- Ensuring facilities, fixtures, and equipment are maintained to high standards
- Helping to coordinate planned and reactive maintenance works
- Supporting annual inspections, audits, and compliance activities
- Assisting with new projects and site improvement initiatives
- Helping to maintain safe, clean, and well-organised working environments
- Liaising with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers
- Assisting with contractor management, permits to work, and site access
- Supporting stock control, consumables management, and spare parts storage
- Maintaining accurate records, logs, and documentation
Essential Skills & Experience
- Working knowledge of site services, facilities maintenance, or building services
- Practical skills in fitting, painting/decorating, and repairs
- Understanding of Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to work with a range of stakeholders
- A practical, solution-focused approach to problem solving
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A flexible, reliable, and professional attitude
