We are currently recruiting for a Graduate Agricultural Service Engineer to join our Engine Farm Workshop team near Ely, Cambs. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to begin a career in agricultural engineering, working with one of the UK’s leading fresh produce growers. We are looking for graduates who are eager to apply their knowledge, develop their skills, and grow within a forward-thinking business.
What you will be doing
- Gain hands-on experience and technical development while supporting experienced engineers.
- Support the repair and maintenance of a wide range of agricultural machinery.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and technical faults.
- Carry out servicing and repairs in both workshop and field environments.
- Assist with assembly and pre-delivery inspections (PDI) of new machinery.
- Use manufacturer software and technical manuals for fault finding.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with Health & Safety standards.
What we are looking for
- A degree in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Basic IT skills, including Microsoft 365 (Outlook and Excel).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A flexible and resilient approach to learning and development.
