The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring accuracy in data entry, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. The role primarily involves: Maintain and update Time and Attendance system Dealing with time sheet discrepancies and queries from staff. Communicating with staff and Area Managers daily via email and telephone. Setting up weekly ‘new starters’ ensuring we have all information required to process payments. Liaising with various internal departments. Compliance tasks such as strictly monitoring working time requirements. Using internal systems to update information and worker pay rates. Administer Payroll, completing from start to end, ensuring that all employees are paid on time and correctly Problem solving - ability to identify and advise on improvements and efficiencies to be gained. Resolve any Issues in a timely manner and escalating when required. This role will offer the successful individual the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a professional but relaxed environment, however our expectation is that this individual will develop into an integral part of Payroll team as their career develops with our business. Essential skills: Previous Admin/ Office experience. Payroll experience could be considered an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided. Comfortable working well on your own but also as part of the team. Able to work well under pressure to ensure strict deadlines are met. Able to process important information quickly and without error. Excellent time keeping and attention to detail.
