We are seeking an experienced and qualified Commercial Catering Gas Engineer to join our growing service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of commercial catering equipment across restaurants, hotels, schools, healthcare facilities, and other commercial food service environments. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and outstanding customer service. *Service, maintain, diagnose, and repair commercial catering equipment, including gas-fired appliances.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits in accordance with customer contracts.
- Install and commission commercial catering equipment where required.
- Conduct gas safety inspections and testing in compliance with current regulations.
- Liaise professionally with customers, site managers, and kitchen staff.
- Manage van stock and ensure company tools and equipment are maintained.
- Participate in the on-call rota as required.
*Experience working on a range of commercial catering equipment including:
- Boilers and water heaters associated with catering operations
- Refrigeration equipment (advantageous but not essential)
*Current Commercial Gas Qualifications, including: Valid Gas Safe Registration.
- Proven experience servicing and repairing commercial catering equipment.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Electrical fault-finding experience.
- Refrigeration or F-Gas certification.
- Manufacturer training certifications.
