The predicted salary is between 8 - 8 £ per hour.
Salary: To be agreed, but based on apprenticeship pay. Apprenticeship Pay Rates (Valid from 1 April 2026):
- Under 18: £8.00 per hour.
- 19 or over & in the first year: £8.00 per hour.
- 19 or over & completed first year: National Minimum Wage for their age.
Responsibilities:
- Work under the general guidance and direction of lecturers and the Practical Skills Supervisor at the Rhyl Campus.
- Facilitate the delivery of practical sessions to groups of learners within the workshop.
- Prepare for sessions in advance, ensuring that all necessary materials and equipment are ready.
- Provide ongoing support to both the instructors and students during the sessions as needed.
- Create an effective and engaging learning environment for the learners.
- Ensure progress within the Engineering Apprenticeship framework within agreed timescales.
Requirements:
- Entry‑level understanding of Welsh is essential; full fluency is not required.
- Full support will be provided to develop language skills throughout the apprenticeship.
