Grwp Llandrillo Menai was established in 2012 as a result of mergers between Coleg Llandrillo, Coleg Menai and Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor. It employs 2,000 staff and delivers courses to around 21,000 students, including over 1,500 higher education students, across Anglesey, Conwy, Denbighshire and Gwynedd.
The Grwp aims to support the economy of North Wales by equipping local people with the skills and qualifications needed to ensure the competitiveness and success of the region. Purpose of the Job
To provide high quality teaching, to create effective opportunities for learning and to enable all learners to achieve to the best of their ability. The successful applicant would be part of the A Level department teaching A Level Geography. This would be across both our Rhyl and Rhos campuses. The post would be 2.5 days teaching.
Our sixth form is rapidly expanding, welcoming more students each year who are eager to pursue their academic and personal goals. With a wide range of courses and dedicated support, the growing community fosters a vibrant and inspiring environment where students thrive and prepare confidently for their futures.
Job type - Part time Permanent
Contract Terms - 18.5 hours per week. 417.5 hours annual teaching time. 12 to 13 hours teaching per week. Up to 2.5 hours per week working off site in agreement with manager.
Annual Leave - 46 days leave per annum. All normally observed public holidays, determined annually. Up to 5 days efficiency closure days per annum, determined annually.
