Based in Cumbernauld, Grw Talent’s client is a UK-based company that supplies and manufactures components and tools for earthmoving and construction machinery. The company operates across several UK locations and offers products such as tracks, rubber pads, bucket teeth, and custom buckets, along with repair and maintenance services. It recently was acquired by a global company enhancing its reach while retaining its brand and management.
They are looking for a confident and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join their team in Cumbernauld. You will play a key role in supporting the sales team, maintaining customer records, answering and actioning phone enquiries, managing orders, and ensuring accurate reporting. You will need to have excellent customer service skills, be well organised, proactive, and tech-savvy - especially when it comes to CRM systems and Excel.
Responsibilities:- Process sales orders and customer information with accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain and update CRM data, ensuring records are complete and current
- Generate sales reports and support forecasting using Excel
- Coordinate with other departments to track order progress and resolve issues
- Assist the sales team with administrative support as needed
- Respond to customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner
You should have proven experience in a sales administration or similar support role, with proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar). You’ll also need to have strong Excel skills (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) along with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Lastly, you’ll need strong written and verbal communication and the ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
