We make and fulfil our own products in Stockport, and we’re bringing our production, lab and fulfilment together in new units at Hillgate Business Centre.

We need an experienced interim Project Manager to plan the moves and deliver them.

  • What you’ll do
  • Turn empty units into a working factory, lab and fulfilment centre.

That covers layout, services, installing and commissioning equipment, and getting everything signed off before production starts.

  • Move production and our lab from two existing sites into the new space, and fulfilment into a separate building next door, without stopping production or orders going out.
  • Map the drains and plan where plumbing, drainage and electrics are needed. Arrange the utility connections.
  • Find the right way to heat the units without huge running costs, then cost it and recommend it.
  • Find, appoint and manage contractors, from electrical and plumbing to kitchen fit-out and removals, and keep the project on budget.
  • Be the day-to-day contact with our landlord for consents, access and lease requirements.
  • Work with our team on new and better ways of packing orders.
  • Plan practical details such as where bins, waste and recycling are kept.
  • Agree the move plan with us, report weekly, and hand back the old units in good order.
  • What you’ll bring
  • You’ve set up a factory from scratch and moved a working one.
  • Background in manufacturing, ideally filling and packing.
  • A track record of managing contractors, budgets and timelines, including building services and utilities.
  • Working knowledge of health and safety, fire safety and industrial building services.
  • Clear, practical communication, whether you’re with the directors, the landlord or the team on the shop floor.
  • Desirable: experience in cosmetics or personal care, lab moves, e-commerce fulfilment or lean methods.

You’ll have a real say in shaping how we make and ship our products for years to come, as part of a growing, purpose-led business.
