The Role
We are currently looking for a Service Supervisor to join our busy Warrington office. The successful candidate will work alongside the Service Manager, splitting time between office-based duties and field activities assisting the service and call‑out team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day coordination of Service Engineers and Field Technicians.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to the Service team.
- Plan and optimise engineers’ routes using MS2 app to maximise productivity and reduce travel times and fuel costs.
- Ensure all planned visits are completed within each calendar month.
- Review and influence engineer productivity.
- Avoid call‑outs and address troublesome lifts, following up with clients and communicating proposals for resolution.
- Coordinate any required actions with engineers and field technicians.
- Manage isolated lifts to minimise downtime and achieve rapid resolution.
- Coordinate external and internal training requirements and mentor team progression.
- Conduct maintenance audits and ensure overall H&S compliance.
- Provide customer technical support as required, focusing on improvement and repair.
What We’re Looking For
- Demonstrable experience as a Service or Repairs Engineer, with a minimum NVQ3 qualification or equivalent experience.
- Background in Mechanical or Electronics engineering.
- Experience managing or coordinating a team is an advantage (training will be provided).
- Clean UK driving licence (essential).
- Right to work in the UK (mandatory).
