The Role
The Service Contract Sales Coordinator will be responsible for identifying, preparing, and issuing maintenance and service contracts for lift (elevator) systems. This role involves driving growth by proactively generating new sales enquiries through online portals and other lead-generation sources. The successful candidate will assess client requirements, prepare competitive tender submissions, and accurately complete both internal and client-bespoke documentation
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor online procurement portals daily, including public tender boards, construction networks, and facilities management platforms, to identify new lift service opportunities.
- Qualify incoming leads and market intelligence to assess project suitability and commercial viability.
- Maintain a pipeline of active contract opportunities and follow up on expiring client agreements.
- Assess client requirements from tender documents, specifications, and asset lists to determine the appropriate service level, such as basic, comprehensive, or bespoke frameworks.
- Estimate contract costs based on lift types, usage, age, and company pricing structures.
- Complete bespoke documentation required by corporate clients and public sector bodies, ensuring strict adherence to compliance and formatting requirements.
- Draft professional proposals and formal quotations clearly outlining the scope of work, response times, and pricing.
- Input and maintain accurate contract data within internal CRM and ERP systems.
- Coordinate with engineers and surveyor teams when technical site audits are required before finalising a contract.
- Ensure a smooth handover of won contracts to the operations and maintenance teams, clearly communicating all service level agreements (SLAs).
