About The Role
The Continuous Improvement (CI) Lead is a people and consumer focused leader who is supportive of an inclusive environment. They eliminate process losses on equipment or areas and drive standards and problem-solving processes. The CI Lead supports the Line teams to create process standards and coach on using standard tools to perform problem solving. They provide mentorship, instruction and assessment of problem solving mechanisms to ensure the lines are not underperforming due to the lack of technical process capability or knowledge. They align with the Operations Manager and Maintenance Lead, supporting the training of equipment/process/area/system owners.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Facilitates the line loss analysis (waste elimination and yield improvement) and line throughput improvement plans
- Leads the analysing day to day problems by using standard methodologies
- Daily analysis of shift line data to identify and prioritise loss elimination opportunities
- Spends time on the floor to gather information on stops, changeovers over the past 24 hours
- Investigates initial root cause of downtime/ main issues
- Discuss main stops and root cause. Establish countermeasures in plan for the day
- Ensure KHMS (Kraft Heinz Management System) pillar completion and compliance
- Lead Problem Solving to eliminate chronic losses for the line
Key Skills And Knowledge
- SAP knowledge desirable
- Advanced excel competency, supported by strong numerical and analytical skills
- Exceptional organisation with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Strong Communication / Coaching / Training Skills
- Six Sigma qualification preferred
