At Elecnor, we are seeking a Protection and Control / Commissioning Supervisor to work on energy infrastructure projects located in the UK.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Direction and execution of commissioning activities, including program preparation and coordination of vendor and contractor technicians and supervisors.
- Responsible for defining testing requirements and forecasting associated materials, assisting in the procurement of necessary equipment.
- Preparation and development of commissioning procedures for electrical systems.
- Review of detailed technical documentation and configuration files for various protection relays.
- Responsible for the system handover process from construction completion to final delivery, including visual inspections and identifying non-conformities or punch-list items.
- Ability to lead meetings with clients, grid operators, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
- Responsible for reviewing test reports and completing necessary internal quality documentation for final handover.
- Responsible for developing sequential energization programs in coordination with grid operators.
- Ability to manage safety functions regarding safety rules, lockouts/tagouts (LOTO), work permits, and electrical clearances/isolations.
- Ability to perform system fault analysis, including data analysis from protection relays and fault recorders.
What profile are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience.
- English proficiency (B2–C1 level).
- Preferred/Optional: SAP.
