Who are we? Since our beginnings in 1973, manufacturing aluminium and metal joinery systems, Aluman has evolved into an international benchmark in façade solutions for complex and distinctive buildings. We deliver projects across sectors such as Retail, Living, Refurbishment and Contract, both nationally and internationally. Aluman’s culture is built on technical excellence, innovation and a strong commitment to quality craftsmanship. We believe the success of our projects comes from the talent of our people. For that reason, we foster collaborative, professional and development-oriented teams, particularly within our project and site operations.

We are currently looking for a Quality Manager based in the UK who wants to be part of our international growth and contribute to the successful delivery of high-value façade and building envelope projects.

What will be your mission? You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered in line with technical specifications, contractual requirements and UK quality standards, overseeing quality across the full project lifecycle — from engineering and manufacturing through to installation on site. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers and project stakeholders, ensuring that quality processes, inspections and documentation are properly implemented and maintained throughout the project.

What will you be doing?

  • Develop and implement the Project Quality Plan in line with contractual requirements and UK standards (BS/EN).
  • Define and manage Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and quality control procedures.
  • Review technical documentation, drawings and specifications from a quality perspective.
  • Oversee manufacturing quality in internal workshops and external suppliers.
  • Plan and carry out factory and site inspections, ensuring traceability and compliance.
  • Monitor installation quality on site, identifying deviations and coordinating corrective actions.
  • Manage non-conformities (NCRs) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Maintain quality documentation and prepare quality reports for management and clients.
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and project standards.
  • Coordinate quality matters with clients, consultants, contractors and subcontractors.

What are we looking for in you?

  • Education: Degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture or similar.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in Quality Management / QA-QC within construction or engineering. Experience in façade or building envelope projects will be highly desirable. Previous experience in the UK construction market will be considered a strong advantage.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of ITPs, inspections and quality control processes. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Knowledge of construction materials, tolerances and technical standards. Experience managing quality documentation, reporting and non-conformities. Advanced use of Excel and reporting tools. Spanish language skills would be beneficial but are not essential.
  • Skills: Organisation and planning. Attention to detail and quality focus. Effective communication skills. Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Ability to work with multidisciplinary project teams.
