What The Job Looks Like
- Support the oversight of Medical Information governance (procedural documents, working instructions, and their allocation) as well as Medical Information vendor.
- Contribute to due diligence/capability assessments of outpartnering projects, as well as the integration of products and partners.
- Manage interface for standard and custom responses, as well as training/mentoring Medical Information Managers as users/admins on the system.
- Review service provision by Medical Information vendor, assessing resource needs and adapting as necessary.
- Represent Medical Information in inspections and audits as required.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant global legislation, highlighting relevant updates to the team and propose required changes to processes.
- Leverage memberships of Medical Information industry associations to showcase Global Medical Information externally and bring learnings to the department.
- Support the Cluster Medical Information Manager community.
- Contribute to budget forecasts and management of invoices.
- Act as deputy for the Global Head of Medical Information.
What You’ll Bring To The Table
- Degree level qualification in scientific/medical field, MD/ Pharmacy preferred.
- 5+ years proven experience in Medical Information or Medical Affairs roles in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven leadership experience within Medical Information.
- Expert knowledge and understanding of Medical Information and associated regulations.
- Experience in managing outsourced vendors and strong collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English and ability to communicate at all levels within an organisation.
- Additional European language beneficial.
- A strategic, commercial and analytical mindset.
- A self-starter mindset that is energised by collaboration with others.
- A high attention to detail.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills in an environment with rapidly changing priorities.
- Strong intercultural competence and the ability to work in a matrix environment to achieve optimal solutions together.
