Salary: £13.65 per hour
Contract: Permanent, part-time (14–21 hours per week)
Working hours: 0900-1700 Monday to Friday, but can be flexible
Are you passionate about sustainability and eager to contribute to a dynamic Environment and Sustainability team?
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual, eager to develop their career to join us on a part-time basis. It is essential that the candidate can commit to working 14–21 hours per week.
In this role, you will manage environmental data using the MP5 database and coordinate monitoring and laboratory schedules. You will also provide both administrative and field support across our operations.
What you’ll be doing as Environmental and Sustainability Administrator
• Accurately inputting and retrieving environmental data from the environmental database
• Identifying and addressing any environmental data breaches
• Preparing environmental data reports for submission to the Environment Agency
• Collecting and consolidating energy and water consumption data from all Grundon sites
• Maintaining up-to-date schedules for the environmental monitoring programme
• Collaborating with laboratories to resolve issues and introduce new requirements
•Keeping the environmental permissions archive up to date
• Ensuring regular servicing and calibration of monitoring equipment
• Complying with all company policies, including health and safety standards
• Supporting additional projects as requested by the job holder’s Manager/Supervisor or the Board of Directors that are within the skills and capabilities of the job holder.
What you’ll need
• GCSE in Science or Maths at grade C or above; A Levels preferred
• Strong interest in sustainability and environmental practices
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage extensive data sets
• Awareness of workplace health and safety
• Proficient with MS Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Eager to learn and grow, with a strong commitment to personal and professional development
• Effective team player with the ability to work independently and communicate clearly
• Ability to perform effectively in difficult terrain and various weather conditions
