Reporting into the Depot Operations Manager, you will play a key role in driving our mission forward, developing your skills and learning to drive and operate a range of 3.5t waste collection vehicles safely and efficiently, collecting predominantly hazardous clinical waste, in line with company standards.
What will you do:
- Carry out daily vehicle checks, reporting and escalating defects in line with legal requirements.
- Comply with WTD, SOPs, and Risk Assessments.
- Report incidents, near misses, contaminated bins, and non-conforming waste promptly with accurate paperwork.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Wear and maintain PPE/uniform to required Health & Safety standards.
- Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
- Ensure punctuality, accurate record-keeping, and completion of duty hours whilst remaining flexible with working hours and support overtime when required.
- Ensure full compliance with all Company policies and procedures including health and safety and employment.
- Any other duties, such as ad hoc projects, as requested by the job holder’s Manager/Supervisor or the Board of Directors that are within the skills and capabilities of the job holder.

- Willing to be multiskilled and drive various size/modes of vehicle.
