Then here\’s your chance to join our busy waste facility between Reading and Maidenhead , where clinical waste from customers like hospitals, vets and care homes is weighed, recorded and sorted for onward transfer to other waste facilities. What you\’ll be doing as Waste Operative – Sorting and processing waste and loading trailers. – Operating a mechanical bin tipper to load waste onto a trailer for onward disposal. – Operating plant to process the clinical waste, weighing and recording throughput, visually checking waste and storing in the correct bins/areas. – Carrying out maintenance checks. – Operating a bin wash machine and carrying out any repairs.
